WebSite X5 Evo and Pro

There are countless elements in a Template or on a Page which you can define by using colors: texts, backgrounds, margins, shadows, etc.

In any case, if you need a particular color, which maybe isn't available in the standard color palette, you can use a very useful tool: the Eyedropper.

That's what you need to do:

  • Open the color palette. For instance, click the Text Color from the Text editor
  • Click the Eyedropper icon on the bottom-right and hold down to activate the tool.
  • Keep holding and drag the Eyedropper out of the editor area onto an image or element to select a color. For example, you can select the color of an image that is saved on your desktop. Now you can see the selected color in the Eyedropper box.
  • Release and the color is automatically saved amongst the last colors that you have picked.
